The Friends have books on sale throughout the year on book carts available inside the Central, Rincon Valley and Northwest Branch libraries during library hours. We especially appreciate scholarly, fine press, fine art, and recently released titles.

We are happy to discuss with you what we can and cannot use. We are always looking for saleable materials, and there are some exceptions to our general guidelines.
Please be mindful that many non-saleable books and other materials may be recycled in your blue bin, including paperback books and most magazines. Service will begin in our new location, Sebastopol Road, starting in Summer We are an all-volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for traditional library materials, as well as magazine subscriptions, computer equipment, bookshelves, carpeting, furniture, and other needs that help the Santa Rosa Libraries serve our community.

The primary source of our revenue is the sale of donated books, recordings and related materials. Regrettably, most hardcover books are not recyclable, unless their covers are removed.
